Messages from Devon

The International Women's Arts Program is working in partnership with The Double Elephant Print Workshop to create a new piece of work commissioned by The Devon Records Office. The Project Title is Message form Devon. We are creating a series of flags with printed drawings from Devon overlaid with sewn or painted messages about what it is that makes Devon such a great place to live.

We will be running a workshop at the International Woman's Day event at the Exeter Phoenix, working with a youth group, WEA learners and Rejuvenation. We are also very pleased to be a part of The Devon Grapevine Meet and Greet Day at St Sidwells on March 26th and hope to see many of you at one of those venues to join in and be a part of this historic project.
The flags will be exhibited as a part of the Exeter Respect festival in June and at the Devon Records Office as well as a touring exhibition throughout the summer. They will then be archived with the Devon Records Office to become a historical record of live in Devon Today.

If you have a group and would like us to run an outreach workshop with you please contact me on info@internationalwomensart.org
